To do the sound add a slider. Make the name VolSlider, the minimum 0, maximum 1 and value 0.5. Say the media player name is Media. Add the following code:

Class MainWindow

Private Sub VolSlider_ValueChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.RoutedPropertyChangedEventArgs(Of System.Double)) Handles VolSlider.ValueChanged
Media.Volume = VolSlider.Value
End Sub
End Class
