Reply: (edit)Xsu, Password protecting your computer is pretty easy. You just have to know how to get into your BIOS/CMOS setup. This can be done by pressing a specified key at startup and is often DEL, F10, F1, F2, CTL+ALT+ESC or CTL+ALT+ENTER depending upon the mother board and maker. Once in the CMOS/BIOS their are options for setting the system password there. borelli33@netzero.net

Reply: (edit)Xsu, Note that the second way is only software/OS specific and is much easier to bypass through software. The first option in the CMOS can be bypassed but it usually requires someone opening your computer and shorting or removing your battery that maintains the CMOS data and therefore is more secure than a password for sign on into an operating system because the CMOS is at the hardware level which is accessed BEFORE any software or OS is even thought about by the computer...Good Luck! borelli33@netzero.net
