I m using WindowsXP....and want a simple method of my data encryption e.g. folders and my files in , Kindly tell me is there any way to lock them out in this manner. Idont want to use any software, just want to get knowledge in vision of VB.net programming

Look, if you REALLY want to know how to do this, just download TrueCrypt's source and port it over to VB.NET. It'll be a nice little project for you.
And by little, I mean 1.33 MB of C/C++ source.
