Hey Mech, I've been seeing you around the forums and I hope you'd be able to help me with my situation.

Basically, I think the issue I am facing is that, the variables are not being carried over to the FTP, is there anyway i can define variables in FTP?

P.S. Sorry if I'm not using the right words/terms, I'm not much of a techguy.

Hey hameed,

I think what you are looking for is setting a variable.

set today=%date:~10,4%-%date:~4,2%-%date:~7,2%

if you "echo %today%" you should get YYYY-MM-DD.
