I think you posted to the wrong forum, but the problem is not likely Linux, since the newer distros no longer have problems with ultra-large disks (lilo used to, but no longer). Win98 should be on the first partition, so it shouldn't care either. You can post your situation on the Linux forum. Your situation is extremely common, so there should be no problems getting answers there. However, I strongly recommend you post more details, such as what the exact problem is, how you noticed it, and how you tried installing, as well as what your hardware is. Cheers
