Solved How Do I make a Batch Remember Input

Specs: Windows 7
Im trying to make a simple ping script for other users but i dont know the right commands
This is what i have so far...

Can Anyone help?

set /p "x=IP: " <--- I want the text text I write to be remembered
@echo ================
@echo Starting
@echo ================
timeout 3 /nobreak>nul
goto pinging

Ping "XXX" -t -l 10000 <---I want the Rememberd text to be in XXX

I don't clearly understand what you want to achieve, but to recall the string stored in a variable just code

set /P IPadd=Enter IP address^>
ping %IPadd% -t -l 10000

Beware a batch variable is not persistent, i.e. it is lost when the script is terminated.
