hidden file in a video file

I suspect someone has hidden a file behind/inside a video on my computer , i have a number of copys of the sample vid i got with the comp. does anyone know if this is possible or is it ghosting

It is possible. It is a common way of transmitting viruses. If you suspect that there is a hidden file scan it with an Anti-virus application.

I think you are looking at the sample video that windows put under every user's profile. If this is the case then don't worry it is done normally by Microsoft. You got to love Microsoft for wasting disk space with this garbage.

yeah, there was a post a dealing with this several days ago.
you can stash stuff in the back-end of most media files,
music, pictures, videos, simply by using:
copy /b xx.mp3 + myvirus.bat xx.mp3
and bam, there you are. Use debug or edit /70 and you can
see the text (or whatever) at the very end of the file.
