HELP with Novell, VB.NET and Access

CPU/Ram: Pent 4 512MB Ram

I'm trying to link an Access(2003) Database with a VB.NET program. I can do this on a non-networked system, so know that there isn't a problem in the setup of the VB and Access. But when I try to run the same program on a computer setup on Novell v4.90 Sp1a, the program stops and points to the InitializeComponent() in the block on code below:
#Region " Windows Form Designer generated code "

Public Sub New()
MyBase.New()

'This call is required by the Windows Form Designer.
InitializeComponent()

'Add any initialization after the InitializeComponent() call

End Sub

Is there anyone out there that can help me or point in the right direction to get help?

--a frustrated teacher who's had to learn this on her own.....
