[help] FOR + echo without going to next line

October 28, 2011 at 07:01:05
Specs: Windows 7
set count=0
for /f %%g in ('dir /b "c:\3000mp3songs"') do (
set /a count+=1
echo processing %count% %%g
)

I'll end up with many lines

WITHOUT clearing the screen via cls, how can i make it so that i'll have processing % filename updating the same line without going to the next line.

.

have you tried using the title command as an option?

set windowstring=processing
TITLE %windowstring%
set count=0
for /f %%g in ('dir /b "c:\3000mp3songs"') do (
set /a count+=1

windowstring=processing %count% %%g
TITLE %windowstring%
)
