Having a problem detecting when an MPUT fails

December 21, 2010 at 06:07:18
Specs: Windows XP
I have a batch file that connects to a server and uses MPUT to place the files to the remote server. Found out yesterday that the named user in my batch file had a security problem and could not PUT the files. How do I capture these errors and notify someone that the job failed? Email would be ideal, but I'd consider any kind of notification.

redirect the output of the script to a text file, serach that text file for string "Error" or something like that.
and opon successful find use an third pary application to notify the user.
