I got to do a final year project for my computer science, I have chosen a topic called “Online Student Portal” it’s a web base and having functions such as course information time table, students can up load assignment and download student study materials uploaded by lectures and stuff…but I need to add more to this and make this as unique. so what can I add more into it and also I have to presentation on this, on that I have to make the people get attractive about my project so need help on doing a success full presentation also, please provide me some info on this and help me out please. I was asked to do a Literature Survey also, how can I do that?? For my topic

Do you already have the system implemented? If not, i would recomend moodle. I did a similar project many years ago. Moodle is open source, and can be heavily customized if i dont remember incorrectly. Why reinvent the wheel? :)
