getting back my volume control

hi!!! when ever i restart my computer and look in my start menu i don't see the volume control in the start menu. can anyone please help me thanks.

Go into Start, Settings, Control Panel, Sounds. Search around the box that comes up, and there should be an option to place it on the task bar.
If that does not work, you could try going into CD Player, Options, Volume Control. Search around there, and there should be an option to put it on the task bar that way.
