Live in france. am a novice. Loaded XP retail on to my main computer no probs. On doing same on back up advent it all went wrong. Advent boots to lines Verifying DMI Pool Data...
Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM
and freezes every time with no response from keybord.I suspect it cannot run the cd rom drive.
please help.

You probably don't WANT to boot from CD. do you?
It's really a HARDWARE or XP issue, not programming.
