Boreland is nice since it is free and works, but I personally prefer the dos version of g++ (the gnu c++ compiler, like gcc). I was surprised to see that the compiler I know and love was available in dos .exe format, and even uses the same syntax as the *nix versions! Anyone wanting to get this can find it free at www.gnu.org or you can get it with cygwin (a linux terminal emulator for windows), just google a search for cygwin since I can't access the link right now.

Borland 5.5 is nice...

I remember Turbo C++ for DOS.

I'm going to have to get the GCC for DOS... just can't pass something like that up ;)
