I am currently active on about 20 forums, so I want to be ale to track new messages on them, most of them follow this general format

http://host/forum/sub forum/title/thread #.html

I was wondering if there was any way to check if a certain html file exists on a website, automatically. Preferably CMD commands.

I only Batch if possible, 2000 more lines of code, oh well.

You could try a utility like wget (the GNU utility from one of the Windows ports such as MinGW - do a search for it.) Then you specify the URL on the command line (in your batch file) and then test the errorlevel.
