Force Close Running Programs.

Specs: Windows Vista SP1, 4 gb ram

Does anyone have a script to force close all running programs? I DO NOT want it to shutdown. Everything i search for only shows me shutdown /f
Help?

Define "running programs".

It's hard to separate Windows from non-Windows programs (on process level). And even if you succeed, you may be shutting down all firewall and virus scanning etc. ...

What's the point ? Sounds acedemic to me. Restart Windows in Safe Mode ?!

Try taskkill /? in your command prompt. Taskkill allows you to kill task's by process. You said that you want to kill all tasks, your could do something like taskkill /F /IM *.* or taskkill /F /PID * maybe put taskkill /F /PID [variablecounter] on a loop. These are just idea's i havent tested the syntax.
