I have a collection of .avi/mp4 movies files. I want each to have a thumbnail displayed when browsing the folder. To do this for one folder, have the jpg in the folder then right click on the folder, properties, customize, folder pictures, select pictures, jpg.
I have hundreds of folders on which to perform this simple yet time consuming operation.
Can you suggest a batch file or other free method for doing this?
I am using Windows XP PRO SP3

Take a look in Autoit programming language, that can simulate mouse clicks and other events. There is not a ready solution, but it would be easier if you learned how to do it in Autoit than doing manually that task.
