Hi Friends I want to run the exe of Flash in VB 6.0. The problem is this when I place/put the control of “Shockwave Flash” in the Form, it gives the message “This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down If the problem persists, contact the program vendor” Plz help me. I will be very thankful to you.

I could be wrong. but, the flash / shockwave control, will only play *.swf files. what you are trying to run is a compressed flash file which does not need the control. so as far as i can see, you are not able to run it on a form in a shockwave control. but you could run it as another application alongside your vb application just as a seperate entity. you could launch it from the vb applictaion. hope that helps you
