Hello everyone,

i have created a userform in excel and it is part of a workbook called "Loader" When i open this workbook i have arranged for the userform to display immediatly.

So now the userform is up, there are several buttons that refer to other workbooks stored in a particular location.

example: Button_1 will open workbook "Payments"

When the userform is open, excel seems to be disabled, in that i can not click any of the buttons, ribbon, cells etc.
so when i click button1 on the form and it loads "Payments" i can not actually do anything with this workbooks sheets.

So i was wondering, how can i make it so, when i click Button_1 i create another workbook or instance of excel, load my "payments" workbook into there?
so that the workbook that has the useform remains open but another instance of excel will be used to load the subsequence workbooks i request via the buttons?

If anyone has any advice or information it will be much appreciated.

you could try recording the task and then replaying it. Try

Hope this helps.
