Enabling/Disableing Macros in Excel

Does anyone have the VB code that will enable macros upon opening a specific shreadsheet and then disabling macros on closing the spreadsheet. I have tried recording the action using the Macro Recorder but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks Kathy
