Okay, So I have 2 partitions on my computer with 2 operating systems installed. I would like to use my windows 7 partition and then emulate the other partition in my windows 7 one. I searched online and I have found nothing even relatively close to what I am looking for. please help
thank-you

You can run two or more operating systems concurrently inside the same partition using virtual machines. This is a well known and operated tecnology and I'm surprised you found no references on that by googling.
There are free emulators/virtualizers for any flavour
- MS Virtual PC 2007 by Microsoft
- VMWare and VMPlayer
- VirtualBox as open source code
- Quemu another open source
- Bochs open source, the slowest and technical orientedThey install inside a virtual disk and run as windows on your desktop. Which to choose depends on the guest operating system and your purpose.

Okay, well if thats the only way to do it then I'll just look for I decent emulater like that. Its unfortunate I was prety sure that there would be one that would let me boot the other partition while in my windows 7 one

I'm not sure but VMWare can do what you wish, i.e. boot the virtual machine from another partition not just from a virtual volume. Take a look at their site and see if the free offers enable that facility.
