Hi,
I'm new to Lotus notes. Currently I am using Lotus notes 6.5. The requirement is such that users will select some of their E-mails and checks-in to their document management system. The E-mail will be checked in against a client selected from an Oracle database. In notes, users will select the E-mails and click on an action in the "Inbox" called check-in. On clicking of the action a dialog box is opened where user can give a search criteria and click on search. The search will actually query the Oracle database and return the results and will be shown in the dialog box. The user will then select the required client and click "OK". The information I have to show on the dialog box can have more than one rows and columns. So, I am trying to use an "Embedded view" on the form. The embedded view is actually a folder. The search results are put in the folder as a notes document and the documents are shown as the search results. All these are fine. But what happens is, once the control goes into the embedded view I am unable to click on the search button or any other control on the dialog box. I have to close the dialog box and then click on the action button on the Inbox folder again to come back to the dialog box. Is there any other best way to do this. Also, I want to know how to retireve the document I have selected in an embedded view from a dialog box.
Thanks,
Hari.T.Harihara
