Does anyone know how to embed a file into a VB program and then open it without extracting it? For example, I recently opened an exe file that had an swf file embedded in it and it was somehow able to play the file without extracting it. Thanks

The .swf file thing works by using programs that combine the flash player executable with the swf file to play.

It was probably a Flash Projector file. Projector files are exe files with the Flash player and a SWF file embedded into them.
