Comment:

Hi, I have a list of e-mails. I need to know if the emails are valid (not the sytax, but do they actually exist and work)

is there a simple script, or some sort of program that would flag invalid emails?

Please help, thank you.

I doubt the script would be very easy at all, but you can download 'aev' from this site..

You can't really "check" and email address to see if it's real. You have to actually send an email to each address, then wait for bounces, which could come in seconds, or hours, or days maybe.
