edit a file using batch script

Microsoft Windows server 2008 standard
September 6, 2010 at 12:09:00
Specs: Windows Server 2003/2008, 2 GB

Using some SQL commands i am getting the output in a text file as shown below :-

2010-09-07 00:29:02.527

(1 row affected)

I want a batch file to edit this file into :-

2010-09-07 00:29:02.527

Please suggest me whether it is possible with batch script. If yes how?

use findstr /v to omit lines with ----- and "affected" , then pipe to new file.
