2. I don't remember that "visual" ever appeared when using the basic that am referring to. Isn't Visual basic a totally different animal than basic basic, qbasic or another kind? Wasn't it for one of the "newer" programming techniques like top down, structured, or some other variety?
I downloaded something called QB64 and it seems to like the syntax that I submitted to it but seems to be buggy!, but is lacking many of the features that I used to have - like step execution, a supply of examples, help, etc.
I am in search of that old basic and its public name for searches. I've tried many variations of names and tlmost all seemingly relative hits are regarding the virtual basic to which you alluded.
