If you are running under a NT family system (Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/7), forget int 13h or int 21h as they were methods to call system routines in DOS and there is no DOS in NT kernel systems.

To interact with kernel you have to issue API calls as even NTVDM, the builtin DOS emulator, emulates a narrow set of native int xxh functions.
