There is no dns name shown under the 'Computer Properties' in active directory for a computer on a domain using Windows Server 2003. The client computer can get out to the internet, can recieve e-mail, can see all the computers on the network. The Server can ping the ip address of the client computer but cannot access the computer. The dns name under the properties for the 'Computer Properties' window shows no name. I need to be able to access the client computer from the Server in order to be able to back it up onto a tape back-up. Any ideas?
