Solved Detect if disc loaded - VBS script

Specs: Windows XP, Quad Q9450/4GB
Anyone know of a VBS script or a program or any other no-brainer way to detect whether there is a disc in the optical drive please?

Open the drive tray and take a look of course!

The "Enumerating CD-ROM Properties" script in this link shows you how to find this out (and all the other properties of the drive).

Usually that "post moving" happens when it is decided that a post would do better on a particular forum. If it was originally on the Programming forum then your guess is as good as mine. Sounds like your response got lost in the move.
