Customize Epson Printer driver?

I'm using Photoshop to create images that are 60 inches long. I'd like to print them out using an Epson 880 or Epson Stylus Photo EX printer. The custom paper size limitation is 44 inches. Epson says, that that's it. Do any of you know if the driver/Epson software can be modified and if so, how can one do it? Thanking you in advance. Jack
