Creating a batch file to close Outlook07

Microsoft Outlook 2007

Specs: Windows XP
I'm using SCCM to deploy an Outlook plug-in that requires Outlook07 to close before it can install. Is there a way to create a batch file to close Outlook in a non-forceful way and give it some time to do it's own thing before shutting down?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Taskkill (without the /F switch) should do it.
