Hi, I want to create a folder from part of an episode file name and then move episodes into that folder. e.g.
The Office s08e01 The List 720p HDTV DD5.1 H.264
The Office s08e03 Lotto 720p HDTV DD5.1 H.264
The Office s08e04 Garden Party 720p HDTV DD5.1 H.264A folder called "The Office S08 HDTV" would be created and the episodes would move into that folder. If the folder is already created, only the episode is moved. I would also need it to work for other sources such as SDDVD, ISO, BLURAY. e.g. Name of Show Sxx ISO
Some episodes may have longer or shorter file names than the example above. I need the batch to look at what's before Sxx, Sxx and the source (hdtv, iso, bluray etc.) and ignore everything else. e.g. Friends S05e24 480p SDDVD xvid would create a folder called Friends S05 SDDVD.
Can anybody help with this?
Thanks
This sure looks suspicious. Batch seems like a waste of time, why not just copy the files via mouse? mike
