Create batch file to set time in TL1 language

October 7, 2010 at 20:42:33
Specs: Windows 2003/XP/7
I have an OC3 Fujitsu mux that does not support NTP time. I need to be able to run a batch file every day to set the time in TL1 language. What has to be done is telnet to device on port 2024, then a blank black screen appears. At this point it does nothing, I have to manually type the login user and password and then do the set-dat command. Here is an example on how it works if I bring up a command prompt and do it manually:
.>telnet 2024

Line 1=telnet to host on port 2024
Line 2=command to log into name of mux with root username, CIT001 is first command, password is root.
Line 3-command to set date and time to name of the mux, CIT002 is second command, October 7, 2010, 7:30 pm.

At this point all I can get it to do is telnet, it brings up a black blank screen but won't do the logon commands. I can actually type them in myself to log into the device then do the set date command. Does anybody have any ideas?

Try using plink instead of telnet.
