create a winzip folder using batch command

Specs: Windows XP sp3
Hi, using XP sp3. I am trying to create a batch file that will create multiple winzip folders and move files into these folders. Tried the following command but it is not creating anything:

C:\program files\winzip\winzip32.exe mkdir c:\documents and settings\\desktop\test\

I am trying to call up the winzip32.exe file and make a zip folder named in the folder c:\documents and settings\\desktop\test.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
