Count files using modified date/created date.

Specs: Windows XP
Hello all,

I have a folder full of PDF files (let's say C:\PDF\). I want to count the amount of PDF files that have been created and the amount of PDF files that have been modified last month. If possible I also want the batch to create an excel file which shows me these amounts.

Since I'm not familiar with creating a batch file I hope one of you can help me.

Kind regards,

Hi
echo ---------------
I assume you want to run this when the Month as changed
It can be complex dealing with dates in batch
Post a sample of the Batch code below and I see what
I can do. The date format is important as well as the delimiters
ie. is your date format mm/dd/yyyy or some other format and
I assume the for loop produces the same date format.
I don't know a great deal about Excel

@echo off
echo %date%
for /f "tokens=* delims=" %%a in ('dir /b *.bat') do (
echo %%a %%~ta
)
exit /b
