Hi I maybe not very well defining my proplem but it is very simple
I have a .bat file that asks for user input and the use it in the rest of my file
But I want to define the variable that was filled by the user input by the start path information
To make it much simpler I need to do something similar to this
In cmd:

Start file.bat (data)
Thank you

I think you mean command line arguments.

In batch you have eleven variables:

%* == All of the arguments passed to the script.

%0 == The text the was used to invoke the script.

%1 - %9 == The arguments passed to the script. The arguments are split on the characters ",;=<space><tab>"(these characters remain if the argument is double quoted). If you need more than nine arguments either use %* or the shift command to push down the values.
