Hi,
I was wondering, if i write some code in excel (macro), using a 'UserForm' and modules. Can i then compile this somehow into a dll or similar to use it as a add-in in excel?
im using office 2007.
Basically my macro is a user form, on which there are two different drop down menus, using these you can select a name of another workbook and a sheet within that workbook and it will open it. The whole point of this was that we have thousands of workbooks and they asked me to somehow create a method of searching opening. This seems to work but i dont know how to have this as a .COM (i think). we cannot run exes at work by the way, machines are locked down.
any advice, guides will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
