compilation errorcannot read

You're not giving people a lot to go on. The problem probably means that it can't find the source file that you are trying to compile. On the other hand it could be that you don't have permission to access the file; or even that the file is corrupt, or your hard disk is failing. I have to think that the error message you are getting is a little more informative than "cannot read".
