Capture batch activity in text file.

October 29, 2010 at 11:11:35
Specs: Windows XP
I have a couple of batch programs that run automatically either weekends or everyday early morning; however, I need a report of the activity. One does create a small file with the name of the files processed, which is enough for that program/process.

The second one, does not report anything and I would like to see which files did process and which ones could not find (user may have been late to post some).

Could anybody help me modify this batch so it captures in a text file the commands and results (something like an echo captured in the file)

Thanks in advance. Gus.

Sure. Modify your script like so:

I figure I can get away with this joke every six months or so.

Gus, what Razor meant was to post your script so far so he can see it. It's a little hard to edit it without seeing it. However, it was rather funny...

Can I put a question here?
