Can't uninstall Java JDK or JRE

I am trying to uninstall Java JDK and JRE from my computer. Sun's instructions for removal say to do it via add/remove programs in control panel. However, when I go there, I have no option to remove the Java programs (there is no "Change / remove" button available). I have also looked through the Java folders on my computer and can't find anything which looks like an uninstaller. Any ideas how to uninstall the software?
