i want to know .whether you need to know how to write asm codes for microcontroller or the application oriented program........do u have the software manual for the microcontroller you mentioned ...?? first of all you need to have that ... and the hardware for testing your object code.. and the microcontroller software (which may be provided by the company itself) for writing the code ....the object code for testing is nedded.......... so i dont what stage youare in ..please mention me that then i may help you .... thanx raman

I think you first need a interface circuit that decode caller Id signals to computer or Microcontrollers recognizable format.
If you need this type of circuit then emiail me with this details.
In fact I am an electronics Hobbyist And finally I want your help regarding 89c51 Microcontroller. I am a newbeis of this chip and I want to master this chip for designing of new projects Please help me for this regard.

I am intrested in Knowing about the usage of 89C51 for programming and excuting the caller identification with minimum hardware as i want to learn to do some projects using this microcontroller.
