hi:
i need some info regarding programming...
im thinking of doing some work(not assignment not project just to improve my programming knowledge) in C++. 1. is it possible to access the system details(processor type,speed,RAM,HD size etc) in C++... if so wat kinda topics i need to learn it would be great if u suggest some goodsites... 2. how can i retrieve details in CACHE, BIOS using C++.

If you are targetting Windows, you can do it in all languages that can interat with the Win32 API, not only C++.

If you are targeting DOS, this could be done in all languages that support inline assembler, and direct memory access.
