C++ windows.h?

Ive downloaded Mech Commander 2 Source from microsoft but whel I try to compile it using Visual Studio it says that windows.h cannot be found. Does anyone know how to fix this because i need to know so I can start developing my own 3d games. Thanks.

Need help with computers. Stay away from Microsoft.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the path to where your C Headers are located, have to be in your PATH.
