c++ conflicting definitions Error C2371

April 6, 2011 at 11:21:14
Specs: Windows Vista
I am tryign to make a program that combines two open source pieces of software (Basler camera drivers and ITK). Both have definitions of int8_t and mode_t in some of their subroutines, and hence I get a C2371 error.

Can you please advise me on what I can do to resolve this? Simply commenting out the definitions does not work as buried in their code are references to those variables and they are each expecting different types. Thanks in advance-

In each case just rename one of the pair. A simple find and replace will do the job.
