Hi,
I installed borland C++ version 3.0 in my PC, but the C++ program is not running at all; when I click the turbo C++ to get into that window...nothing works.. C++ window creates freeze situation, and the mouse cursor doesn't appear in that windows, and even keyboard function disable too. For get rid of the problem I installed the winxp os two times by meaning that the Xp ist edition OS might be corrupted, but the same problem came back again in my PC.
Could You please tell me the solution? I will be appreciating about that.
My Pc is AMD Athlon 1800
RAM 512MB

Try running it from a command prompt instead of "clicking on it".

The path [usually something like c:\bc\bin] should be in your path.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

try to run it from the program compatibility wizard.
To start the Program Compatibility Wizard, click Start, click Help and Support, click Find compatible hardware and software for Windows XP, and then, under See Also in the navigation pane, click Program Compatibility Wizard

Well...

If you can't make an executable run at the prompt, you probably won't have much fun "programming" in c++.

Hi friend,
Believe me or not that I really have fun & seriousness in C++ programming; I follow your instruction the way you told me…. C:\bc\bin\tc.exe…. It works in that way, but the new weird problem arrives; the problem is that when I maximize the blue color C++ window, it gets the freeze condition, for that reason I can’t work on that window.
How I am going to fix this last weird problem? If you tell me I would be appreciate about that.
