You can make a boot CD with many burners; CDRWIN, Nero etc.
Will the image fit on CD?

I am not positive, but I tried something similar with Norton Ghost, and it prompted me when I selected a CD / DVD drive to store the image whether or not I wanted to make it bootable. If I said yes, it asked for the boot media. I think you need to provide it a boot floppy disk and it effectively uses the contents of that floppy disk as the "boot portion" of the CD. I was doing all this using a Ghost boot disk though, not via any Windows GUI. Hope this helps.
