|Yeh, the language barrier is present and accounted for. (I'm a total loss with languages, so I'm not criticizing in the least). You can always post some examples of "input" and desired "output" to help overcome this. Anyway, with that said, my interp came up with this possibility:|

for %%a in ("a b c" xxx yyy zzz) do echo %%a | findstr /r /c:"\".* .*\""
it filters out xxx, yyy, zzz, and only outputs a b c (quoted items) if it has a space in it.
