So I know how to write a variable to a file but the purpose of my question is to get my batch file to open the internet, preferably in the background, (but I can settle if it isn't possible), but I need the batch file to open the internet and make a good search, what it searches for is whatever the value of my variable, x, is. X needs to be equal to the first line of words.txt, so the batch needs to search google for "What does %x% mean?" except, substituting the value of x for %x% obviously. That will bring up the definition of the word right on google, I want the batch to save that definition from the webpage to in the batch file a variable, z, which will be saved to a file by finding and replacing the string "answer" with variable z in %x%.bat. Help?
