Hi All,

Is it possible to have a progress bar on my batch files? for example I have a script that copys files from one folder to another this normally takes around 1 minute.

Ideally I would like the Command Prompt to not be shown at all instead a pop up window in explorer.exe style will appear with a progress bar inside maybe even percentage too if thats possible

If that is not possible could I have a progress bar moving across inside the command prompt?

Progress Bars are nice but involves too much overhead, Say we are copying 10 files, Is each one valued at 10 percent? What if the files vary in size from bytes to megabytes?

Well, I'm sure you could write one, using "█" and symbols like that. But it wouldn't work with anything, it would just be text.

That's the best a batch will get you (to my knowledge). Sorry.
