Subject: batch help? anyone?
OS: win xp
CPU/Ram: 2.2Ghz Duo 2G Ram
Model/Manufacturer: dv9000 hp
Comment:
I am looking for a code (.bat) that will keep the command window impossible to close until, for example, a correct password is inserted. The annoying part for me is that they can just press 'x' and close the window. Is there a way to stop this? Thanks.

I never get no love. :'(

Ahem...
The Command Prompt does not try to prevent the user from closing it. There is no way a Command Script can convince CMD to do otherwise, so no, you can’t.

Oh, I'm not really sad, just joking, as (hopefully) the invisible text in my post demonstrates.

If u ask me, it's impossible. Probably like the way to keep someone from seeing the inside of a batch file. IMPOSSIBLE

Thats not impossible if you compile it.

Milan, did you even look at the link I posted?

Cmdow allows windows to be hidden from the user. The password part is probably impossible, but cmdow should get you started.
